This recipe for Hazelnut & Cacao Protein Balls take 15 minutes to make and are beautiful to grab when you’re on the go!
Ingredients
- 1 cup vanilla protein powder (use unflavoured or pea protein if you don’t want them too sweet)
- 1/2 cup cashews, ground in blender
- 1/2 cup hazelnut spread
- 1/2 cup sunflower kernels
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 2 tbs desiccated coconut, for rolling
Method
- Place all dry ingredients (except for coconut) in a mixing bowl, then add hazelnut spread, syrup, water and mix well to combine.
- With clean damp hands, roll into 14 balls and roll in coconut. Refrigerate until set.
