Rachael Finch shares her favourite on-the-go recipe – Hazelnut & Cacao Protein Balls

This recipe for Hazelnut & Cacao Protein Balls take 15 minutes to make and are beautiful to grab when you’re on the go!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder (use unflavoured or pea protein if you don’t want them too sweet)
  • 1/2 cup cashews, ground in blender
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup sunflower kernels
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 2 tbs desiccated coconut, for rolling

Method

  1. Place all dry ingredients (except for coconut) in a mixing bowl, then add hazelnut spread, syrup, water and mix well to combine.
  2. With clean damp hands, roll into 14 balls and roll in coconut. Refrigerate until set.
