Healthy New Year promises made by our Local Loves!

January 7, 2015

‘What’s your New Years resolution?” This can really be a daunting question,  for most of us we tend not to set them or if we do, after week one that self-made promise disappears into the abyss.

So we asked our Local Loves to send through their 2015 New Year promises to themselves, something that would change their year for the better.

Holly Cooper – Local Nutritionist and Foodie

“To meditate every day. I am meditating more, but I really want to make it a daily priority next year.”

Rowie Geraerts – Yoga teacher

“My favourite thing about this year would have to be really jumping head first into yoga teaching. it’s something I’ve been training and preparing for for almost 4 years now so it’s so nice to have it fully realised and to finally be living my dream. ”

Kavisha Jega – Wellness and Food Coach

“Get back into a consistent yoga practice. I want to become extra bendy!”

Rosie McCaughey – Yogi and Owner of Rise Yoga Studio

“To allow myself more balance: Starting a new business has been challenging and the biggest challenge is maintaining balance and inner health. When we are balanced as individuals we can then share this calm energy with others, and be an example that is different from the norm in this crazy society!”

Uppma Virdi – Owner of Chai Walli

“I love sharing anything that is good. One thing I love is cooking and baking. I cook with Ayurvedic spices and balance my meals according to seasons. I want to make time in 2015 to share the beauty of spices in the kitchen so that other people can also create spicy magic in their kitchens and have balance in their lifestyles through their meals.”

Teresa Truda – Local Entrepreneur + Owner of PataPata.com.au

“Have one hour a day to myself, doing something I want to do.”
