Where did the idea for B.O.D By Finch activewear come from?

Activewear has taken me through so much in life. I gave birth in it, met my husband wearing it and have travelled the world with it on. It’s usually the first thing I reach for when I wake in the morning and it’s always been a dream of mine to have my very own activewear line. I grew up outdoors and from a young age I’ve been very active (competing in numerous sports) so it felt natural for me. The range is a reflection of who I am, combining my love of fashion and fitness. It has a very relaxed vibe, made up of timeless, functional pieces and is so exciting to work on.

How do you get your creative juices flowing?

I like to follow a morning routine that sets me up for a day of inspiration and productivity. This usually involves stretching, meditating, cuddles with the kids and Misha, my MCT coffee and a cold shower. Having a clear and positive mind is also necessary for creativity. I love learning about ways I can increase mental awareness and focus in order to be the best version of myself. Some days creativity can come by simply turning on some music!

Where do you draw design inspiration from?

I wear activewear almost every single day, whether it is for trips to the airport or from the yoga studio to the beach, so I take most inspiration from what I look for in activewear. I wanted the range to be feminine, relaxed and suit a variety of activities and lifestyle needs. I am completely involved in the design process and it has been amazing to learn about different fits and fabrications.

What do you want women to feel when they wear your clothes?

I want women to feel comfortable, confident and strong no matter what they are doing. B.O.D by Finch is designed to support, flatter and celebrate all shapes and sizes and help women be the best versions of themselves whilst giving them time to do what they love.

What am I wearing out of the new collection if I’m off to a yoga class then to brunch with my girl squad?

Either the Cloud Dancer Leggings or the Storm Dancer leggings, paired with our Supreme Crop Tank which has built in support. I also love the Pointe Jacket from our new range which is perfect to throw on after a workout – if I’m not wearing it I’ll just tie it around my waist.

Who would you love to see wearing B.O.D By Finch activewear

When I see someone I don’t know walking down the street wearing the range that really makes me smile.
